Everyone experiences different realities - even when they are in the same room people will interpret things differently, so the idea of one reality is itself questionable. That's why the mental heath field is an area of constant debate and shifting interpretations.

Our Aims
Our aims are to:
Create an atmosphere in the workshops that is safe, respectful and enjoyable Promote a deeper understanding of psychosis Enable participants to reflect upon and enhance their practiceEncourage users to talk about their issues so they can learn from others in the group as well as understand their own experiences moreEncourage a more personal approach to mental health workExplore meanings around psychosisUse creative mediums as ways of expression Enhance participants' skills and ideas for developing psychological approaches with people experiencing psychosisGive participants the opportunity to see users and/or themselves outside of their symptoms and from a more holistic perspectiveConsider what might help during and after psychosisFind new ways and affirm old ways of empowering usersGive participants the space to discuss their fears and concernsExplore the possibility of recovery and how that can be facilitatedExplore creativity as a tool for learning and/or developing relationships Look at the implications of labellingLook at creativity and to find ways of using this to improve mental health services and personal developmentthere is currently a technical problem with the 'back' / 'forward' tabs in this site browser.
